Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly Customer Service Attendant for Grand Rapids, MI. This seasonal role runs Sunday–Thursday, 2nd shift, focusing on vending operations, stock replenishment, and customer interaction at client locations.

The role requires an outgoing personality, teamwork, and strong organizational skills, with friendly service and basic arithmetic for cash handling. Pre-employment drug testing is conducted; EOE.

Responsibilities

• Receive delivery of items at client locations.
• Fill vending machines to proper inventory levels.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in machines or coolers.
• Ensure refrigeration of all cold food products.
• Oversee ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money from machines.
• Communicate positively with customers by eye contact and smiling.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines.
• Maintain clean vending areas.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Customer Service Attendant in Grand Rapids, MI. This is a seasonal position only with a schedule of Sunday - Thursday, 2nd Shift.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive delivery of items such as soft drinks, bakery products, snack items and specialty foods at client locations
• Fill vending machines to proper inventory levels with items such as soft drinks, pastries and packaged foods
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines
• Maintain clean vending areas
