Job summary

Concordia Language Villages is seeking temporary Residential Culinary Support staff for fall programming in Bemidji, MN. This on-site position involves helping prepare and serve meals, cleaning, and kitchen support for 1 to 3 weeks per assignment.

Housing and meals are provided during the stay, with potential overtime earnings. Assignments run fall 2026 through spring 2027, with shifts that may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Willingness to assist with a variety of kitchen tasks including cleaning, dishwashing, and meal service.
• Ability to follow instructions and established food safety procedures.
• Availability to work a varied schedule including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to reside on-site for the duration of the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare, cook, and serve meals for program participants and staff, based on your skills and experience.
• Assist with basic food preparation, meal setup, and dining service.
• Wash dishes, clean kitchen equipment, and help maintain clean and organized foodservice spaces.
• Follow established food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Support kitchen staff with daily tasks and other operational needs.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Adapt to changing schedules and program needs, helping wherever you're needed most.
