Miraval Berkshires, part of Hyatt Hotels Corporation, seeks a seasonal Culinary Instructor to lead Life and Balance Kitchen classes for guests. The role involves planning daily sessions, testing recipes, and developing new culinary designs while mentoring staff and managing a budget.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate or higher from college or technical school preferred.
• 2 to 5 years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.
• Must possess fluent use of the English language.
• Ability to effectively communicate Miraval experiences to guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily classes for guests.
• Test and taste recipes in classes.
• Develop new designs and recipes.
• Requisition supplies and equipment.
• Train and mentor staff.
• Set and manage budgets for programs.
• Coordinate with Chef on flavors and trends.
• Experiment with new flavors.
• Prioritize guest requests and maintain safety and cleanliness.
