Soho House is seeking a Bartender in New York to craft cocktails, serve beverages and food with exceptional hospitality. You will engage guests, upsell items, and uphold brand standards across a fast-paced club environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in high-volume F&B, craft cocktail skills, and a friendly, professional demeanor. This role offers full-time hours at Soho House locations in New York, with competitive benefits and Team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience working in high-volume F&B operation
• Craft cocktail experience
• Experience making coffee drinks a plus
• Ability to multitask and deliver drink requests in a timely and efficient manner
• Strong communication and people skills
• Flexible schedule and reliable
• TIPS certified
• Micros POS experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Follow steps of service and company guidelines for preparing cocktails, juices, coffee and drinks used at the bar
• Maintain a clean and organized section and collaborate with other bartenders to wash glassware and utensils after each use
• Educate guests and members about beverage options learned through House Tonic trainings
• Discuss and describe daily specials and menu items to promote additional sales
• Collect payment on all sold items and operate a cash register
• Check identification to ensure legal drinking age and monitor alcohol consumption
• Arrange bottles and glasses to create appealing displays and boost sales
• Serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner
• Monitor and maintain inventory and delegate replenishment to Barbacks
• Mix ingredients according to recipes to maintain a unified beverage program
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager
