Job summary

Q Center is seeking a Part Time Seasonal Cook I to join our team on-site with a varying schedule that can include days, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

The role involves assisting in food preparation, maintaining quality and presentation standards, and ensuring cleanliness and safety in the kitchen. Applicants should have a High School/GED or hotel culinary experience; 1-2 years preferred and Food Handler certification required. Rate is $20.00/hour.

Qualifications

• High School or GED completed and/or experience in a hotel culinary role preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous experience preferred.
• Food Handler certification or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and follow standardized recipes.

Responsibilities

• Assist workers engaged in preparing foods for guest dining and perform a combination of duties.
• Adhere to food quality, appearance and presentation standards.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation and safety in the kitchen and work areas.
• Minimize waste and maximize cost/production ratio.
