Job summary

The Lodge at Schroon Lake, operated by Olympia Hospitality, is seeking a skilled cook to join our on-site culinary team. You will prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes, portions, and quality standards to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a kitchen environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Culinary Arts education preferred.
• Serve-Safe Certification and Allergy Awareness Training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.
• Follow proper cooking techniques including grilling, frying, roasting, baking, and sautéing.
• Monitor temperatures, times, and quantities to prevent waste and ensure quality.
• Collaborate with culinary team and management to refine menu items, specials, and promotions.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized kitchen and ensure safety regulations are followed.
