Fort Dodge Asphalt Company is seeking a Construction Equipment Operator to handle a variety of power construction equipment in Fort Dodge, IA. The role is full-time seasonal, with overtime and Saturdays as needed, offering safety-first operations and diverse project experience.

Employees will work with asphalt pavers, backhoes, rollers, loaders, dozers and graders while following company safety policies and training. The team values integrity and reliability on varied road and lot projects.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Previous equipment operating, front end loader, experience preferred.
• Physically fit to perform the job functions including the ability to stand, squat, bend, lift, and walk for long durations.
• Able to communicate effectively and work in stressful situations.
• Willingness to be a team player and help train less experienced employees.

Responsibilities

• Operate several types of power construction equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• This may include asphalt pavers, backhoes, asphalt rollers, front-end loaders, dozers, graders, compactors and other equipment.
• On-the-job training will provide knowledge and skills to contribute as a productive crew member.
• This position is full-time seasonal, requiring overtime and working Saturdays as needed.
• Follow safety programs and policies to mitigate risks and improve productivity.
