Job summary

Cedar Falls Community Schools is seeking a Lead Concession Attendant to operate and supervise the school concession stand during athletic events. The role involves evening and weekend work, cash handling, and oversight of staff and volunteers in a fast-paced setting.

The candidate should be able to maintain sanitation, coordinate with administration, and acquire ServSafe certification. This is a seasonal position with evaluations conducted annually by school leadership.

Responsibilities

• Open and close concession stand at events.
• Be available for staff, volunteers, and customers during events.
• Communicate effectively with volunteers and management.
• Supervise stand workers and volunteers; assist with food prep and POS.
• Maintain cash handling processes and report issues.
• Ensure sanitation and cleanliness; maintain equipment.
• Acquire ServSafe certification.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Annual evaluations by Head of Concession Operations & Athletic Director.
