Job summary

Foster Poultry Farms in Riverdale, CA is seeking a Commodities Warehouse Worker for a seasonal swing shift at the Burrel Fertilizer Plant. The role is full-time and on-site, with a 10-month assignment and competitive hourly pay.

You will operate front-end loader, forklifts, and transport raw materials, perform bag filling, weighing, and batching, and perform general plant cleanup while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a self-starter with ability to operate a forklift.
• Willing to rotate into various departments and shifts as needed.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and verbally communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate front-end loader, tractor and shuttle trailers to move raw material to the plant.
• Operate forklifts and 40-foot trailers safely and efficiently.
• Perform vehicle inspections, reporting mechanical issues as needed.
• Bag filling, weighing, and batch formulation; ensure correct bags and product codes.
• Weigh, sample, and ensure formulation accuracy; support weighmaster duties as needed.
• Clean up around the plant and perform other duties as assigned.
