Job summary

Kauai Coffee is seeking a Coffee Factory Worker in Kalaheo, Hawaii. The role is full-time/semi-seasonal with a $17.50/hour wage. You will operate and monitor wet and dry plant equipment, ensure quality control, and assist with cleaning and repairs.

The incumbent must be able to lift 100 lb bags and work with conveyors, pulpings, and sorting equipment to meet production standards. Responsibilities include monitoring dryer temperatures, loading parchment, logging data, and participating in safety

Qualifications

• Reads, writes and speaks English; follows instructions.
• Capable of lifting 100 pounds repetitively.
• Experience with conveyors, separators, pulpers, demucilage and drying equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operates and adjusts wet and dry coffee plant equipment to maximize throughput and quality.
• Cleans, maintains and repairs plant equipment and facilities.
• Rotates shifts as scheduled; performs other coffee factory functions as directed.
• Safely operates lift trucks, trucks, and tractor trailer combinations as needed.
