Job summary

Kauai Coffee Company is hiring a Coffee Factory Worker for Kalaheo, Hawaii. This full-time seasonal role supports the factory operations, safety, and quality control across wet and dry plant processes.

Responsibilities include operating and adjusting equipment, unloading cherries, monitoring temperatures and moisture, and ensuring proper storage and documentation. The ideal candidate can read, write, and follow instructions in English, and lift heavy coffee bags as required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating coffee plant equipment and safety procedures.
• Ability to lift 100 pounds repeatedly and work a full shift.
• Basic reading/writing and instruction-following in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate, control and adjust Wet and Dry Plant equipment to maximize throughput and quality.
• Clean, maintain and repair plant equipment and facilities.
• Unload cherries, feed and regulate flow through washing/drying equipment.
• Monitor temperatures and moisture; ensure proper storage of parchment/beans.
• Log data on computer terminals and assist with shipments and requisitions.
