Job summary

Palomar College seeks qualified part-time faculty to serve as Seasonal Assistant Coaches for multiple sports at the San Marcos campus and other locations. The roles are seasonal/part-time, with day/evening/weekend assignments and a cap of 67% load.

Under the Athletics Director and Head Coach, you will coach a specific position or players and may be asked to transport the team to remote competition sites using a district vehicle. A master’s is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must meet one of the qualification sets listed: a bachelor’s degree or higher with two years of professional experience; an associate degree with six years of professional experience; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to the above.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Seasonal Assistant Coaches for listed sports as needed.
• Coaching at specific positions or players as directed by Head Coach.
• Transport team to remote competition sites using a district vehicle.
