Stratton Mountain Resort is seeking a dedicated Childcare Teaching Assistant for the Stratton Childcare Center. You will care for infants to young children, support educational activities, and communicate with families about daily experiences.

A seasonal mixture of full-time and part-time roles is available, with an hourly wage starting at $20.00/hr. Applicants should meet Vermont standards, hold a high school diploma, and have First Aid/CPR certification.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 college credits in psychology, sociology, or early education.
• 1 year of working experience in a childcare center.
• Must be 18 years of age or older with First Aid & CPR Certification.
• Able to lift 40 pounds and work varying shifts including evenings/weekends/holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Interact with and encourage children in activities while ensuring safety.
• Follow curriculum and encourage participation in classroom activities.
• Maintain cooperative attitude with staff and assist with daily tasks.
• Report to families about children's daily experiences.
• Attend staff meetings and complete 24 hours of professional development.
• Assist during meals and help keep the facility tidy.
• Adhere to state childcare regulations and safety procedures.
• Participate in emergency procedure coordination and reporting.
