The role emphasizes understanding developmental milestones, planning activities, and collaborating with families and staff to support physical, emotional, and cognitive growth. Prior childcare experience is preferred; high school diploma required, with training within the first year.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Fifteen hours annual training approved by Cabinet for Human Resources standard for Childcare Centers must be completed within the first year.
• One year childcare experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and plan for a group of children while maintaining a safe, nurturing learning environment.
• Assess readiness of children and plan developmentally appropriate activities.
• Communicate effectively with children, families, and staff.
• Collect information to prepare daily lesson plans.
• Maintain supplies and materials for activities.
• Encourage exploration, play-based learning, and emotional wellbeing.
