Job summary

Simplot Company, based in Halsey, OR, is looking for a Seasonal Truck Driver/Warehouse worker to operate trucks, deliver fertilizer, and assist with plant operations. This full-time, temporary position includes full benefits and potential for overtime.

Applicants must possess a Class A CDL and be able to lift 50lbs. Responsibilities also include maintaining trucks, recordkeeping, and assisting with equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a Class A CDL and appropriate driving record.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Ability to perform all essential functions of the job.

Responsibilities

• Operate fertilizer truck and assist with plant operations.
• Loading and delivering fertilizer and chemicals to customers.
• Perform equipment and plant maintenance including welding and pump overhauls.

Skills

Truck driving experience

Knowledge of local rural geography

Knowledge of farm operations
