Job summary

CHS Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Driver to join our Ruthton team this fall, with potential return in the spring. You will haul agronomy products and grain to local customers, providing reliable service and maintaining safety standards. Overtime opportunities are available during peak seasons.

The role requires a valid CDL and at least one year of driving experience, with strong emphasis on safety and documentation. You may work flexible hours to meet customer needs in a rural Minnesota region.

Qualifications

• CDL driving certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Strong safety and compliance mindset with accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate a semi-tractor/trailer or straight truck to deliver non-hazardous materials locally.
• Follow DOT regulations and company policies for route safety and compliance.
• Provide professional customer service and clear communication during pickups/deliveries; resolve routine issues.
• Connect/disconnect trailers and perform loading/unloading in safety protocols.
• Complete delivery docs and logs; maintain accurate electronic records.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Report incidents and share safety best practices with team.
• Provide guidance to Associate Drivers on routes and safety as needed.
• Share operational knowledge to improve team efficiency and customer satisfaction.
