Job summary

Lakeshore Recycling Systems in West Chicago is seeking a Seasonal Clean Sweep driver to service assigned routes using a motorized street sweeper. You will operate safely, communicate with dispatch, and complete routes while maintaining logs and pre/post trip inspections.

Qualified candidates have a valid Class B CDL, the ability to read maps, and the stamina for long hours in varying weather. DOT medical card required prior to hire.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand a map and follow routes.
• Must meet physical requirements: lifting, bending, and long drive hours.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Clear written and verbal communication with customers and dispatch.
• Must have a valid Class B CDL and a DOT medical card.
• U.S. work authorization; no sponsorship needed.
• No DUI/OVI in past 5 years; clean license history.
• Ability to read/speak English well for safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate street sweeper safely on assigned routes per regulations.
• Clean streets, gutters, parking lots, and other areas.
• Complete routes and communicate route changes to dispatch.
• Maintain route sheets and logs, and perform pre/post inspections.
• Interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
