Must hold a valid CDL Class A or B and be able to work nights, weekends, and extended shifts outdoors in cold weather. Prior snowplow experience is preferred for this on-call seasonal position.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL, Class A or B.
• Experience operating snowplow trucks or similar heavy vehicles preferred.
• Ability to respond to winter storms on short notice.
• Able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.
• Able to work outdoors in cold, icy, and extreme weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate snowplow trucks and winter maintenance equipment to remove snow and apply de-icing materials.
• Perform safe, efficient plowing during winter events with heavy snow and ice.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors about route and weather conditions.
• Respond on-call during and after snow events, including nights and holidays.
• Support roadway snow removal, de-icing, and clearing operations.
• Follow all safety standards and traffic control procedures.
