Job summary

LRS is seeking a Seasonal Portable Driver in Illinois. You will service portable restrooms and hand wash stations on assigned routes, communicating with dispatch and maintaining route sheets. The season runs April to mid-December with varying hours, including some Saturdays.

Candidates must hold a valid Class B CDL, pass pre-employment testing, and read/speak English well. Prior waste industry experience is a plus; DOT medical card required before hire.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B license required and valid.
• Ability to read and understand maps and directions.
• Proficient verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a truck safely on assigned routes according to regulations.
• Service portable restrooms, hand wash stations, and other equipment per standards.
• Complete routes and maintain driver logs and route sheets.
• Communicate with dispatch about changes or issues.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
