Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking a Route Service Driver to operate a service truck and service portable restrooms and holding tanks along designated routes. You will drive safely, stock supplies, and maintain vehicles while delivering courteous, reliable service to customers and municipalities.

The role requires a Class A or B CDL with tanker endorsement, a clean driving record, and at least 1 year of CDL experience. Expect daily route driving, safety inspections, and potential emergency work.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL with tanker endorsement.
• Clean driving record meetingWaste Pro driving guidelines.
• At least 1 year of CDL-related driving experience within the past 7 years.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Understand refuse collection policies and DOT requirements for operators of commercial motor vehicles.
• Ability to speak and read English well enough to communicate with customers, co-workers, dispatch and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives service truck to and from pre-designated work sites based on daily routing information in accordance with company guidelines.
• Delivers and services portable restrooms and holding tanks per servicing guidelines.
• Restocks paper products, hand sanitizer, soap in serviced units.
• Cleans interior and exterior of units and adds chemical solutions as needed.
• Provides courteous and expeditious customer service and maintains a positive attitude.
• Answers questions for customers and directs them to contact Customer Service or Dispatch.
• Performs daily pre- and post-trip inspections and DVIR per company safety guidelines.
• Maintains clean truck and washes exterior weekly.
• Prepares, maintains and submits required reports and documents.
• Assists other routes or communities as needed and may deliver bins/carts.
• Responsible for all persons working on vehicle during the route; ensures DOT compliance.
• May be required to work during emergency situations.
