PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Operates and maintains single, tandem, or multi-axle trucks/trailers and forklifts for delivery and pick-up of agronomy and energy products, following specified schedules to/from company and customer locations to support profitable business growth.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Operates and maintains all assigned vehicles and equipment in accordance with safety standards and proper operation techniques.
2. Performs daily safety checks, including pre-trip inspections of fuel, oil, tires, lights, and brakes, and maintains a clean vehicle appearance.
3. Loads and unloads trucks according to company policies and DOT regulations.
4. Ensures all deliveries and pick-ups, along with associated documentation, meet company standards.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Maintains company equipment according to standards and adheres to the company Uniform Policy to present a professional image.
2. Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct, Environmental Health and Safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
3. Performs basic shop maintenance.
4. Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Essential skills include business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.
3. Possesses or can obtain a CDL with required endorsements, a valid medical card, and maintains a satisfactory driving record.
4. Ability to work extended hours as needed.
5. Occasionally exposed to extreme weather, noisy conditions, dust, fumes, chemicals, electrical hazards, and may work at heights.
6. Capable of moving up to 100 lbs.
7. Willing to participate in required training related to policies, procedures, and job-specific skills.
