PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Operates a single, tandem, or multi-axle truck for delivery and/or pickup of agronomy and energy products, following specified schedules to/from company or customer locations to support profitable growth.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Operate all assigned vehicles (single, tandem, multi-axle), forklifts, etc., adhering to safety standards and proper operation techniques.
• Perform daily safety checks, including pre-trip inspections and maintenance, ensuring a professional appearance of the vehicle.
• Load and unload containers, pallets, or materials safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Make deliveries and pickups in accordance with schedules, promoting excellent customer service and professionalism.
• Complete all documentation accurately, including bills of lading, delivery slips, and invoices, and submit them timely.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of cargo and other required documentation daily.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

• Maintain company equipment and adhere to policies, including uniform and professional standards.
• Follow GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct, safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent; up to 2+ years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to operate tractor-trailer or tender trucks safely, meeting company and DOT standards.
• Must obtain and maintain a CDL with required endorsements, a valid medical card, and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work extended hours as needed.
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications and permits.
• Exposure to extreme weather, dust, fumes, chemicals, electrical hazards, and working at heights may be required.
• Lifting 51-70 lbs.

Participation in training on company policies and safety procedures is required.
