PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Operates a single, tandem, or multi-axle truck for delivery and/or pickup of agronomy and energy products, following specified schedules to/from company or customer locations to promote profitable growth.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Operates all assigned vehicles, including single, tandem, or multi-axle trucks, forklifts, etc., following safety standards and proper operation techniques.
• Performs daily safety checks, including pre-trip inspections of fuel, oil, tires, lights, and brakes, and maintains a clean vehicle.
• Loads and unloads materials safely, ensuring loads are balanced and compliant with DOT regulations.
• Delivers and picks up goods on schedule, providing excellent customer service and professionalism.
• Completes all necessary documentation accurately, including bills of lading, delivery slips, and invoices, and submits them promptly.
• Maintains accurate logbooks and records of cargo daily.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

• Maintains company equipment and adheres to uniform and professional standards.
• Follows company policies, safety regulations, and environmental procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent, with up to 2+ years of related experience operating tractor-trailers and meeting DOT standards.
• Demonstrates business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.
• Must obtain and maintain a CDL with required endorsements, a valid medical card, and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work extended hours as needed.
• Willingness to participate in training related to company policies and safety.
• Occasional exposure to extreme weather, dust, fumes, chemicals, electrical hazards, and working at heights; ability to lift 51-70 lbs.
