Job summary

Nutrien is seeking a local CDL delivery driver to support our agricultural inputs distribution. You will load, transport, and unload materials to customer locations while following DOT regulations and maintaining accurate paperwork.

The role emphasizes safety, reliable home evenings, and overtime during peak seasons with full-time hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• CDL required; hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Driving record must meet company standards.
• Must meet DOT physical and medical requirements and pass substance screening.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load or assist in loading trailer with materials.
• Unload or assist in unloading trailer by forklift or hand truck.
• Operate semi-truck with one or two trailers according to state laws.
• Transport loads via designated routes, complying with traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct standard DOT truck inspections.
• Complete all company and DOT required paperwork.
• Complete shipping bills of lading, obtain signatures, and return to shipping office.
• Maintain related records as required.
• Daily checks of oil, water, gasoline, and air in tires.
• Report maintenance issues to the maintenance department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

• Load or assist in loading trailer with materials
• Unload or assist in unloading trailer by using forklift or hand truck
• Operate semi-truck with one or two trailers, according to state laws
• Transport loads over required route to proper destinations, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Conduct standard DOT truck inspection
• Complete all company and DOT required paperwork
• Complete shipping bills of lading, receive necessary signatures, and return completed paperwork to shipping office
• Maintain any related records required
• Perform miscellaneous service duties such as checking, on a daily basis, oil, water, gasoline, and air in tires
• Report any maintenance malfunctions to maintenance dept
• Other duties as assigned
