Job summary

Nutrien is seeking a local delivery driver in Hastings, NE to load, transport, and unload materials for our agricultural products. You will operate a semi-truck with one or two trailers, conduct DOT inspections, and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.

This role provides local, home-every-night shifts with stable hours and strong safety standards. You must meet DOT physical requirements, have a clean driving record, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load or assist in loading trailer with materials.
• Unload or assist in unloading trailer by using forklift or hand truck.
• Operate semi-truck with one or two trailers according to state laws.
• Transport loads to destinations while observing traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct standard DOT truck inspections and complete required paperwork.
• Maintain related records and report maintenance needs.

What You'll Do:

• Load or assist in loading trailer with materials
• Unload or assist in unloading trailer by using forklift or hand truck
• Operate semi-truck with one or two trailers, according to state laws
• Transport loads over required route to proper destinations, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Conduct standard DOT truck inspection
• Complete all company and DOT required paperwork
• Complete shipping bills of lading, receive necessary signatures, and return completed paperwork to shipping office
• Maintain any related records required
• Perform miscellaneous service duties such as checking, on a daily basis, oil, water, gasoline, and air in tires
• Report any maintenance malfunctions to maintenance dept
• Other duties as assigned
