Job summary

Catering By Design, a division of Compass Group USA, is hiring immediately for seasonal Catering Captain positions in Denver, Colorado. The role involves coordinating catering staff, serving at events, and ensuring smooth function delivery; previous catering experience is required and driver license may be needed.

Qualifications

• Previous catering experience is required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates catering staff schedules to ensure functions are delivered, served and cleared on time.
• Prepares and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision.
• May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages to catered events.
• Meet with function leaders to discuss setup and changes; resolve problems.
• Interact with customers and handle complaints in a service-oriented way.
• Ensure proper presentation and food temperatures following recipes and standards.
