The Cashier role is critical to the overall impression that a customer receives during their visit to Coach by applying the Coach Service skills at the Cashwrap. A Cashier’s ability to offer friendly, efficient service is vital to ensuring a positive customer experience. Cashiers must be able to assess the store environment, understand the needs of their customer (and any waiting customer) and match their service appropriately.

Responsible for:

  1. Creating a lasting impression
  2. Greeting the customer with a smile and eye contact and offering your name
  3. Interacting genuinely and naturally with the customer
  4. Act as an ambassador to the Insider Program
  5. Engaging customer in verbal and non‐verbal conversation at Cashwrap and while in line (if no Cashwrap Supervisor or Line Leader)
  6. Reading cues and determining customer’s needs
  7. Demonstrating high level of integrity when capturing customer information such as name, address, email (as permissible by state law) and maintain password confidentiality
  8. Verifying/approving/completing return process in accordance with Policy
  9. Ensuring repairs are processed in accordance with Policy in partnership with management
  10. Ensuring all damaged/scrap returns are labeled and ticketed in partnership with management
  11. Monitoring and reporting any equipment issues to management
  12. Maintaining Cashwrap organization and cleanliness
  13. Suggesting multiple add‐ons and selling gift cards
  14. Maintaining media and cash accurately and in compliance with Policy
  15. Delivering product purchases to the customer appropriately

Additional Requirements

Experience: 1-3 years of previous cashier experience in a luxury retail service environment preferred. Possesses current knowledge of fashion trends and competition in the marketplace.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.

Technical: Knowledge of cash register systems, basic computer skills (including the ability to use iPad/laptop, Mobile POS and Internet), utilize walkie talkie, understand and read price and product release sheets.

Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high retail traffic and sales days (including but not limited to the day after Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Christmas Eve, Mother’s Day, etc.).

Work Setup

BASE PAY RANGE: $15.00 TO $15.00 Hourly
