What You Will Do

All Lowe’s associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. As a Seasonal Associate, this means:

• Being friendly and professional, and responding quickly to customer and associate needs.
• Ensuring merchandise is stocked and presented appropriately for customers.
• Engaging in safe work practices and encouraging others to do the same.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Seasonal Associate may serve as an Assembler, Receiver/Stocker, Customer Service Associate (CSA) - Sales Floor, CSA Loader, or CSA Front End, typically in a temporary capacity. All roles support Lowe’s mission by providing excellent customer service, including greeting customers, responding to inquiries, and assisting with merchandise.

Specific duties vary by role, for example:

• Assembling merchandise (Assembler)
• Stocking and distributing merchandise (Receiver/Stocker)
• Loading merchandise for customers (CSA Loader)
• Assisting customers on the sales floor (CSA Sales Floor)
• Processing sales and returns (CSA Front End)

This list is not exhaustive, and employees may be asked to perform other duties as needed. Depending on hiring needs, applicants may be considered for any of these roles.

Travel Requirements

This role does not require regular travel but may occasionally involve travel for meetings, training, or to support other stores.

What We're Looking For

• Hourly seasonal schedule typically from 10 to 40 hours, with potential for more.
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, and evenings any day of the week; Receiver/Stocker may need late evening, night, or early morning hours.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing, sitting, and lifting (minimum 25 pounds, or 10 pounds for CSA Front End).

Minimum Qualifications

What You Need To Succeed

• For Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• For CSAs: At least 6 months of experience using a computer and handheld devices to input and access information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Assembly & Receiver/Stocker: 3 months of forklift or power equipment operation experience.
• CSAs: 6 months of retail experience, including customer service, product knowledge, and sales skills.

If required by local law, applicants must obtain or pass a salesperson license within 60 days of employment.
