ExplorUS in the Logan District of Utah is seeking a Campground Host to help deliver a quality recreational experience for visitors. The role focuses on guest services, safety, and daily site management across several campgrounds.

You will perform administrative tasks, maintain facilities, collect fees, and assist with retail items like firewood or ice. The position may be shared by two people and requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills; enjoys working with the public.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Basic recordkeeping and money handling experience.
• Able to lift 20 pounds on a frequent basis.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates courteousness and provides excellent customer service; educates visitors on rules.
• Performs basic administrative tasks, including recordkeeping and fee collection.
• Maintains facilities and grounds; cleans, sanitizes, restrooms, and restocks supplies.
• Rakes and grooms sites and public areas; maintains a litter-free facility and trails.
• Maintains positive working relationships with staff, agencies, and visitors.
• Registers campers, collects fees, and sells basic retail items like firewood, ice, and concessions.
• Processes revenues and fee data using approved forms and procedures.
• Knows local points of interest and campground regulations.
• Reports problems and hazardous conditions promptly.
