Flying Horse Farms is seeking an enthusiastic Food Services Assistant to support the kitchen and dining hall operations during camp sessions. You will help with dishwashing, cleaning, and basic food preparation to ensure safe, nutritious meals for campers, staff, and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and camp sessions.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment following all food safety standards.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining hall areas throughout shifts.
• Assist with basic food preparation under supervision (washing, chopping, portioning).
• Stock supplies and assist with unloading deliveries as directed.
• Support Food Services staff in meal service to campers and staff.
• Follow all camp and food safety policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively and take direction from Shift Managers and the Food Services Manager.
