Job summary

Camp Greystone in the mountains of North Carolina seeks joyful, hard-working counselors for the full-summer sessions. You will teach activities, live with campers, and model a Christ-centered lifestyle in a supportive, Christian community.

Full-Summer counselors must be at least one year out of high school and attend Staff Orientation May 24, 2027–May 30, 2027. Room and board are provided, and a substantial full-summer bonus awaits those who serve across Junior, June, Main, and August Camp.

Qualifications

• Greystone counselors must be Christians who love children.
• Full-Summer counselors must be at least one year out of high school and be able to attend our Staff Orientation (May 24, 2027-May 30, 2027) before the summer begins.
• Counselors receive specialized training for their activity areas; all we ask is that you’re willing to learn!

Responsibilities

• All counselors teach activities, sit at tables with campers in the Dining Hall, and serve as role models at all times.
• Female counselors can either serve on Cabin Staff or Program Staff, and Male counselors serve on our Men Staff.
• Cabin Staff live in a cabin with campers, taking care of their daily needs and leading a nightly devotion.
• Program Staff live in cabins with other counselors and demonstrate leadership and service by assisting in many areas of camp.
• Counselors are expected to serve willingly wherever they are asked.
