Job Skills / Requirements

We are looking for a Temporary residential Building Concierge/Porter to join our team and provide excellent customer service to our residents and guests. You will be working 3 days as a Porter and 2 days as a Concierge.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain cleanliness and order in the common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and recreational facilities.

- Provide a welcoming presence at the front desk, greeting residents and visitors with professionalism.

- Manage the receipt and distribution of packages and mail to residents.

- Facilitate the coordination of building maintenance requests and communicate effectively with maintenance staff.

- Monitor security cameras and report any suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities.

- Assist residents with general inquiries and provide information about local amenities and services.

- Enforce building policies and regulations, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all occupants.

- Handle key distribution for new residents and manage key returns upon tenancy termination.

- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for scheduled services and deliveries.

- Organize and oversee building events and activities, enhancing community engagement.

Requirements:

- Minimum of one year of experience in customer service or hospitality.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact cordially with a diverse population.

- Proficiency in basic computer operations and office software.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment.

- A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.

- Familiarity with building management systems and security protocols.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.

Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

This job reports to the Manager/ Supervisor

This is a Temporary / Seasonal position 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift.
