Job summary

Mid Minnesota Entertainment seeks a highly organized, hands-on Build Manager to oversee the full seasonal build, setup, operations support, and teardown of The Great Pumpkin Trail in Minnesota.

This role requires leading crews in a fast-paced outdoor environment, coordinating logistics, and ensuring guest-ready operations on schedule from August through November, with potential for year-round work for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience in leadership or project management is preferred.
• Ability to lead crews in physically demanding outdoor work.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Reliable transportation to Wyoming, MN.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, schedule, and oversee seasonal setup and teardown crews.
• Lead day-to-day installation and removal of attraction elements.
• Oversee setup of pumpkins, lighting, décor, pathways, signage, photo ops, props, and scenic elements.
• Coordinate wiring and placement of lighting and powered elements.
• Operate or oversee operation of utility vehicles, lifts, trailers, and equipment.
• Maintain organization of storage areas, inventory, props, and décor throughout the season.
• Work with teams in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
• Delegate tasks while maintaining timelines and high standards.
• Troubleshoot setup issues and adapt to changing priorities.
• Assist with operational maintenance and attraction support during the event season as needed.
• Ensure safe working practices across all setup and teardown operations.
