Job summary

Mid Minnesota Entertainment seeks a Seasonal Build Manager for The Great Pumpkin Trail in Wyoming, MN. Aug–Nov, with potential full-time for the right candidate. You will lead crews, supervise the design, installation, and teardown of the attraction, and ensure guest-ready readiness on schedule.

You will coordinate lighting, decor, props, and pathways, manage inventory, and maintain safety while delivering a high‑quality seasonal experience for hundreds of thousands of guests.

Qualifications

• Leadership or project management experience is preferred.
• Comfortable leading physically demanding outdoor crews.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items throughout the day.
• Experience with tools, equipment, trailers, or scenic builds is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Reliable transportation to Wyoming, MN.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, schedule, and oversee seasonal setup and teardown crews
• Lead day-to-day installation and removal of attraction elements
• Oversee setup of pumpkins, lighting, décor, pathways, signage, photo ops, props
• Coordinate wiring and placement of lighting and powered elements
• Operate or oversee utility vehicles, lifts, trailers, and equipment
• Maintain organization of storage areas, inventory, décor throughout the season
• Work alongside teams in a fast-paced outdoor environment
• Delegate tasks effectively while maintaining timelines
• Troubleshoot setup issues and adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Assist with operational maintenance and attraction support during the event season as needed
• Ensure safe working practices across all setup and teardown operations
