Job summary

Carter’s is seeking a Seasonal Associate in Livermore, CA to warmly greet customers, help families explore baby essentials, and support omnichannel shopping. You’ll process transactions at the register, restock floors, and contribute to a friendly, efficient store experience.

This role requires a positive, solutions-oriented mindset, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features, and benefits.
• Execute and expedite point of sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment as needed.
• Articulate current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
• Confidently and proactively resolve issues for customers and balance a number of customers in a busy retail environment.
• Meet customer needs by assisting with omnichannel as needed to ensure a positive shopping experience.
