Job summary

POET is seeking a Laboratory Technician for a Seasonal Full-Time Day shift at the Marion, OH site. The role involves maintaining a clean and safe lab, running tests per SOPs, and reporting out-of-range results to the Quality Manager.

On-site position with opportunities to support QA and operations. The ideal candidate has a science background, basic troubleshooting experience, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Laboratory Technician I: basic troubleshooting and analytical experience.
• Laboratory Technician II: bachelor’s degree in a science field.
• Knowledge of cGMP, PI, QC and PQ reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, professional, and safe laboratory environment.
• Perform quality control tests on product streams.
• Coordinate test results with operators to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Maintain laboratory supplies and provide supply orders.
