The Salvation Army USA Eastern Territory is seeking a Kettle Worker/Bell Ringer to support the Red Kettle Campaign. You will ring a bell, greet customers, and encourage donations at outdoor retail locations during the season.

Successful candidates are trustworthy, dependable, and comfortable standing outside for extended periods in varied weather, with a friendly, engaging demeanor and willingness to undergo a background check.

Qualifications

• Must be trustworthy and dependable.
• Able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Outgoing, friendly, and enthusiastic about raising donations.
• Great people skills; customer service experience a plus.
• Neat appearance; attire suitable for outdoor weather.
• Ability to stand for extended periods in outside weather.

Responsibilities

• Ring a bell to collect donations and greet customers.
• Stand where customers can see you without blocking entryways.
• Ensure the kettle is attended and not left unattended.
• Do not handle money; request donations go directly into the kettle.
• If the kettle is full, contact supervisor for replacement.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors.
