Job summary

Ulta Beauty, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Beauty Advisor to deliver exceptional guest experiences on the sales floor. You will greet guests, understand their needs, perform makeup applications and skincare analyses, and drive sales through product recommendations and in-store events.

The role requires a passion for beauty, strong customer service skills, and ability to work with the team in a fast-paced environment. Flexible schedule including evenings and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (POS system and Apple devices).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and shrink.
• Greet and engage each guest; tailor service to needs and suggest products/services.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds and exchanges; assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Book appointments and support in-store services and events.
• Stay informed about products and benefits to better serve guests.
