Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Seasonal Beauty Advisor to deliver an exceptional guest experience in-store, assist with sales, and perform makeup applications and product demonstrations. The role requires engaging guests, answering questions, and promoting promotions while maintaining store standards.

Responsibility includes assisting with appointments, events, and inventory, while staying informed about new and existing products to provide expert guidance to guests.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates passion for guest service and competence for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (POS system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and shrink control.
• Provide an exceptional guest experience by greeting, engaging, and recommending Ulta Beauty products and services.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, and online orders; perform makeup applications and product demonstrations.
• Book appointments and support in-store services and events to drive sales and guest experience.
• Maintain knowledge of products/ingredients to better serve guests.
