Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Seasonal Beauty Advisor to deliver an exceptional guest experience in-store. You will assist guests, perform makeup applications and skincare analyses, and support sales goals through demonstrations and events.

The role requires strong guest service skills, the ability to work collaboratively with store teams, and flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays at our California location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent education preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Engage guests to determine needs and provide exceptional service.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations.
• Assist with cashier duties and online orders.
• Keep fixtures stocked and store clean; complete assigned tasks.
• Book appointments and support in-store events to drive sales.
• Inform guests about promotions and new products.
