Ulta Beauty in California is seeking a Seasonal Beauty Advisor to deliver an exceptional guest experience, greet shoppers, answer questions, and tailor recommendations to individual needs while maintaining store standards and assisting with cashier duties.

The role emphasizes makeup applications, skincare analysis, product demonstrations, event support, and collaboration with store leadership to drive sales and guest satisfaction throughout peak season.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink as set by Ulta Beauty for the store.
• Ensure that each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging guests, informing them about promotions, and recommending products and/or services.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with on-line orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and the guest service experience.
• Book appointments for and support the execution of services and in-store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience while delivering on sales goals.
• Stay informed regarding new and existing products and services to better serve guests.
