Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Lancaster is seeking a Seasonal Beauty Advisor to provide an exceptional guest experience, perform makeup applications, skincare analyses, and product demonstrations, and support service and sales goals.

This role requires a passion for the beauty industry, strong guest service skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends; training and product knowledge are provided to help you grow with Ulta Beauty.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink as set by Ulta Beauty for the store.
• Ensure that each guest receives exceptional service by providing a guest-friendly environment, greeting and engaging each guest, personalizing service to their needs, answering questions about products and services, informing guests about promotions and sales, and recommending complementary Ulta Beauty products and/or services.
• Courteously handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with on-line orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and the guest service experience.
• Book appointments for and support the execution of services and in-store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience while delivering on sales goals.
• Take the initiative to stay informed regarding new and existing products and services during work time and be knowledgeable about the ingredients and benefits of these products and services to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
