Athletics - Baseball Operations is seeking a Seasonal Minor League Sport Performance Coach in Mesa, AZ. You will oversee and implement all aspects of the Strength & Conditioning program for the organization’s minor league athletes, reporting to the Sport Performance Coordinator.

The role requires a CSCS certification, a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field, CPR/AED and at least 1 year of experience with athletes, plus strong communication. Spanish is a plus.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field.
• CSCS certification through NSCA.
• CPR/AED certification.
• Minimum of 1 year working with a team or athletes in strength & conditioning.
• Ability to motivate high level athletes of various ages and backgrounds.
• Strong communication skills.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
• Experience with HR monitors, force plates, jump mats.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with the Minor League Sport Performance Coordinator and Assistant Coordinator to implement Strength & Conditioning programs.
• Evaluate, motivate, and educate athletes on performance enhancement, health and nutrition.
• Provide athletes with individualized corrective exercise programs and lead team conditioning.
• Monitor and track daily workload and program progressions.
• Learn and utilize relevant technology in training.
• Set up, organize, and maintain the weight room.
• Communicate effectively with staff and athletes.
