Job summary

Naples Beach Club, A Four Seasons Resort, is seeking a Bartender to deliver exceptional service in a luxury hotel setting on Florida's Gulf Coast. You will craft cocktails, maintain inventory, and ensure guest satisfaction with informed wine and spirit knowledge.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of bartending in upscale environments, strong English communication, and a passion for crafting memorable guest experiences within Four Seasons standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bartending in a luxury hotel or high-end bar environment.
• Fluency in English is required for this location and work authorization in the U.S. is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledge of wines, spirits and mixed drinks including origin, taste and preparation methods.
• Deliver quick, precise beverage service following recipes and legal requirements.
• Confirm guest orders with servers and ensure accuracy and satisfaction.
• Assist with product inventory, bar supplies and event promotions.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and follow daily checklists and P&Ps.
• Engage with guests to create an elevated bar experience.

About The Role

This position is dedicated to providing exceptional quality service to our guests. The main responsibility of this role is to serve guests' needs by providing expert knowledge of wine, spirits, and mixed drinks, as well as information regarding preparation methods. The Bartender is responsible for assisting with product inventory, bar supplies, and objectives that managers set for the bar. This role is perfect for someone passionate about craft cocktails, guest connection, and delivering an elevated bar experience. About The Merchant Room

Located at Naples Beach Club, A Four Seasons Resort, The Merchant Room is led by critically acclaimed Chef Gavin Kaysen, founder of Soigné Hospitality Group a collection of award-winning restaurants in Minneapolis. The Merchant Room offers a refined setting inspired by the elegance of Old Florida with an expansive alfresco terrace all with stunning views of the Gulf. Signature features of the menu include in-house dry aged steaks and house-made pasta paired with the Gulf coast’s bounty.

What You Will Do

• Provide knowledge of wines, spirits and mixed drinks including origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of wine list, classic cocktail recipes and specialty drinks.


• Provide quick and efficient beverage service, proper pouring and mixing according to established recipes while following state and city alcohol laws and adhering to Four Seasons standards of service and sequence of service.


• Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the Servers using the resort’s point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest’s original order; anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions.


• Handle any requests in a courteous and efficient manner, responding urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.


• Assist in drink development, promotions/special events, product inventory, process log entries for voids and spillage, cut and prepare fruits and other beverage garnishments, and any other related task.


• Follow bar P&Ps and daily checklists.


• Be present and ensure that professional, courteous, and efficient guest service is offered, where each guest is greeted promptly and courteously with eye contact and a smile.
  

What You Bring

• 2+ years of bartending experience, preferably within a luxury hotel and/or high-end bar environment.


• Working knowledge of Micros POS system is beneficial.


• Strong interpersonal and personal presentation skills required.


• Guest-focused mentality and understanding the importance of guest’s preferences.


• The ideal candidate will have a confident, outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request.


• Position requires continuous standing for 8 or more hours a day and requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs.


• Fluency in English is required for this location and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States.

Schedule & Hours

• This is a full-time position.


• A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule, with the ability to work afternoon and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
