Job summary

CGB Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a general laborer at our grain facility to help load and unload barges and trucks, perform routine maintenance, and support daily operations.

This role requires safety compliance, the ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, and physical stamina for outdoor, dusty environments. No prior experience is required; a high school diploma or equivalent is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: 1 year experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience: None.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Safety Program and attend daily pre-shift meetings.
• Perform duties in compliance with OSHA, safety and environmental regulations; wear PPE as required.
• Perform shore-side barge loading duties (reading drafts, opening/closing lids, tying off barges).
• Transfer, load and move grain to appropriate location.
• Maintain grain quality while stored and transferred.
• Complete documentation timely, accurately and legibly.
• General clean-up and housekeeping responsibilities.
• Preventative maintenance and/or repairs where applicable.
• Other duties as assigned.
