Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Strong knowledge of food, wine and liquor preferred.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Bartender in stocking the bar with beverage products and restocking bar supplies as needed.
• Prepares bars and other beverage outlets for readiness.
• Assists the bartender in opening/closing down the bar.
• Arrives on time, in proper uniform, and at assigned workstation at the start of the shift.
• Cleans all surfaces and restocks bar supplies and beverage products, including instruments used by service staff.
• Assist with inventory procedures and beverage or food service as needed.
• Be aware of specials and Gulfstream Park property and Guest Services resources to respond to guest inquiries.
• Know the week-to-week work schedule and changes per business needs.
• Follow SOPs and policies regarding uniforms, communication, and duties.
• Provides excellent customer service to guests and staff.
• Carry out duties with safety as a priority.
