Pier B Resort Hotel in Duluth, MN is seeking a part-time, seasonal Banquet Server for Fridays and Saturdays from September through December to join our hospitality team and help deliver exceptional service at events.

You will set up banquet spaces, greet guests, serve and clear, and collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. The role requires working evenings and weekends with a professional appearance and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in banquet serving, hospitality, or food service preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or dishes
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Professional appearance and positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and tableware
• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, courteous service throughout the event
• Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction
• Clear tables and assist with the cleanup process after events
• Collaborate with event coordinators and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
• Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and courteously
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas
