The Lakehouse Resort in San Marcos, CA seeks Seasonal Banquet Server to deliver exceptional service at holiday events. You will set up, service, and break down banquet spaces while upholding high standards and guest satisfaction.

Required: prior banquet/food & beverage experience, strong communication skills, and Food Handlers Certification; RBS Certification preferred. Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, is essential.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as banquet server or in food and beverage service preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Food Handlers Certification must be current.
• RBS Certification required.
• Able to lift and carry trays and stand for long periods.
• Available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly, and efficient service during banquet events.
• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications.
• Serve food and beverages following proper etiquette and timing.
• Keep tables and service areas clean and organized throughout events.
• Assist with buffet setup and replenishment as needed.
• Work with banquet captain and team to ensure smooth operations.
• Clear tables and reset for next course in a timely manner.
• Address guest needs courteously and professionally.
• Assist with breakdown and cleanup after events.
