Job summary

Ascend Bank is seeking a Part-time Universal Banker-Float to deliver face-to-face client service while processing a variety of financial transactions. The role includes educating customers on Ascend Bank products and digital channels, and ensuring accurate, compliant handling of transactions.

The position requires knowledge of client experience, retail sales, and risk and compliance, with travel to multiple branch locations as needed. Bilingual English/Spanish is a desirable attribute.

Qualifications

• 2 years (minimum) high school and teacher or guidance counselor recommendation.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and assist with deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and check cashing.
• Process a variety of routine banking transactions per bank policies.
• Address inquiries about accounts and refer complex needs to staff when necessary.
• Follow regulatory and internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure accuracy of transactions.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and balance at start and end of shifts.
• Engage in branch meetings and training to stay updated on products and processes.
• Travel between branch locations as needed.
