Job summary

Denali Universal Services seeks Seasonal Bakers for our remote camp kitchen on Alaska's North Slope. You will bake breads, pastries, and desserts, support inventory, and uphold sanitary kitchen standards in a demanding Arctic environment.

The role offers 3 weeks on/3 weeks off rotations, 12-hour shifts, and travel to the site from Anchorage. Competitive hourly pay, free housing and meals, and overtime opportunities accompany this unique camp experience.

Qualifications

• Two years of high-volume baking and food production experience, including scratch baking.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to work independently and follow recipes and schedules.
• Must be able to work a remote camp schedule and share housing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain consistent food quality, appearance, and presentation.
• Monitor food temperatures and complete required food safety records.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, inventory, and stock rotation.
• Keep kitchen, equipment, storage, and prep areas clean and organized.
• Minimize food waste and help control food costs.
• Train and support kitchen staff as assigned.
• Assist with catering and special events.
• Meet daily production needs with kitchen team.
